With over 3,000 square feet of class 100,000 cleanroom space and highly trained and experienced fabricators, ORCON is one of the largest space industry contract MLI fabricators in the United States. We specialize in fabricating MLI blankets in strict compliance with customer drawings and specifications.

Lightweight Reinforced Space Films (click for details)

Using the company's unique BOCS reinforcing technology, ORCON produces lightweight reinforced Kapton® and Mylar® films that are stronger, yet lighter in weight than other films two or three times as thick. ORCON space films are ideal for exterior layers in multilayer insulation (MLI) blankets, but may also be suitable for sunshields and space inflatables.
